Contract Manager

**Job Purpose**:
**The Legal Contract Manager will ensure compliance with legal requirements and managing contracts. Identify legal risks associated with contractual agreements, including intellectual property rights, indemnification clauses and liability issues. Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments in a centralized database. Collaborate with internal teams, providing legal support and guidance to internal teams on contractual matters.**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Managing MLTX business contract queries
- Tracking contract obligations and compliance status
- Recording and managing key information about contracts
- Collecting and filing contracts and related documents
- Advising so reviews and approvals can be carried out in accordance with MLTX policies and procedures
- Drafting and reviewing certain contract types
- Supporting internal teams on contractual issues/queries

**The types of contracts and documents will include**:

- Client contracts including master service agreements.
- Requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Subcontracts and other supplier contracts
- Employment contracts & policies
- Confidentiality agreements/non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Amendments and change orders
- A variety of other miscellaneous commercial documents.

**Your profile**:
**Education**:University’s degree, preferably in a Law or other relevant experience
**Experience**:Minimum 5 years’ experience as a contract manager, handling complex client/customer contracts, supplier contracts including subcontracts and other contracts

- Excellent English & Portuguese verbal and written communication, including a strong phone and video conference presence (another foreign language would be an advantage)
- Empathetic with the ability to see things from someone else’s perspective
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal counsels and other Legal Department members, Partners, Project Analysts and staff
- Professional demeanor and sensitivity to client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high paced environment
- Working understanding of key commercial contract and risk management concepts
- Basic understanding of business entities and corporate/organizational structure concepts

**Work Location**:

- 2 days a week in our brand new Porto Office
- You must have the permanent right to work in Portugal to be considered for this position
