The Associate Pharmaceutical Scientist will provide support in planning, developing and executing tasks related with Pharmaceutical Research in the areas of areas of characterization, formulation, technology transfer and clinical trial supplies, with significant focus on the research and development of innovative formulations, using recent technologies.

**The Impact You’ll Make**
- Run characterization studies of drug substance and drug product, making the best use of the available technologies;
- Design, implement and execute laboratorial development activities towards innovative formulations;
- Interpret in silico/ in vitro/ in vivo data on drug performance and establish paths for its improvement;
- Plan and execute scale up and technology transfer activities of developed formulations;
- Manufacture of clinical trial materials and oversight of clinical trial supplies used in clinical trials;
- Analyse results of studies and prepare reports for both corporate records and regulatory frames;
- Participate in brainstorming activities and contribute with new proposals and ideas;
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, to strategically drive innovation and promote scientific excellence;
- Assist in the planning and management of pharmaceutical research efforts;
- When required, work cross-functionally with other Departments of the Company;
- Comply with the Quality, Environmental, R&D, Health and Safety Policies, Standards and Procedures;
- Collaborate in all department activities as needed.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences or PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology;
- 0-1 Years of experience in Pharmaceutical Development, in an Industrial or Academic environment;
- Experience with characterization analytical techniques (HPLC, DSC, TG, XRPD) and data evaluation;
- Fluency in English (spoken and written);
- High intellectual and autonomy level with strong organization skills;
- Results oriented and focused on goals;
- Team player, with good communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

This is a temporary position for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
