What you will be doing
Keep the client's organization safe and secure by monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts generated by a range of security tools and systems. You'll play a key role in identifying potential threats and helping respond quickly and effectively when needed.
We need someone who can jump into action when security incidents arise. As part of the client's team, you'll be responsible for responding to these incidents in a timely and effective manner. Your quick thinking and problem-solving skills will be critical to success.
The team is dedicated to protecting our data and systems, and they need your help to do it. You'll contribute to the analysis of Data Loss Protection (DLP) incidents, helping to identify areas where they can improve their security measures and reduce risk.
Are you passionate about creating effective action plans and reports? You'll have the opportunity to contribute to these efforts, helping the client stay organized and on track as they work to enhance their security posture.
You'll collaborate with local security teams, other internal CSIRTs, and security teams to ensure that all are working towards the same goal: keeping the organization safe and secure.
You'll assist with threat hunting and proactive security assessments, supporting the internal Threat Intelligence gathering activities and helping identify areas where they can improve their defenses.
You'll stay current with the latest threats and vulnerabilities, helping make informed decisions about how to mitigate risks and protect the assets.
What you will bring

A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response
Proven knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to network monitoring, incident handling, forensic investigation and/or malware
Strong understanding of Security Operation Center (SOC) processes and procedures
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls and endpoint protection solutions
DLP technology support and event handling
Basic knowledge of Python programming language
Working professional proficiency in English is mandatory
