**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the data science team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions;
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analysis, clustering, segmentation, and optimization;
- Utilise advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse large and complex data sets;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide insights that drive business value;
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the data science team;
- Manage projects and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions;
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in Python programming language and related data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch);
- Strong experience in Databricks, MLflow, and H2O as a plus;
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of data scientists;
- Experience in project management and Agile methodologies.
