- KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets.- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.- Work closely with the other departments in tracking project costs in comparison to their budgeted projections.- Conduct periodic reviews of the fixed asset schedule to determine dispositions.- Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the general ledger.- Run depreciation for all fixed assets.- Prepare internal and external audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries.- Review and preparation of monthly financial statements.- Assist in the preparation of budgets.- Collaborates directly with other departments.- Support in all requirements of programs related to Government investment incentives.
- Job Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in: Finance, Accounting, Management or related field required. Master´s degree highly desired.- 2 years related work experience in Accounting.- Experience in the automotive industry or related field preferred.- Good Knowledge in SAP ERP System- Must have intermediate- Interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required.- Good English language skills (spoken and written).- Proficiency level Portuguese (spoken and written).
