A five-stars hotels group is hiring a Certified Accountant (M/F/d) to assist the Finance Director, in Lisbon.
Your new role
**Reporting do the Finance Director, you will**
Developing and implementing accounting policies.
Chartered accountant ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Ensuring IFRS compliance.
Preparing company tax, and liaison with tax authorities.
Coordinate Internal Audit or Finance Operation Compliance on related areas.
Monthly, Quarterly reporting to Operator and Owner.
Review and conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
Review, analyse and scrutinize monthly financial reports (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist the Director of Finance in the preparation of the yearly budget, monthly forecast and cash flow.
Assist the Director of Finance in maintaining a high standard of implementation of standard operating procedures and policy across the divisions.
Provide leadership and guidance in the absence of the Director of Finance.
What you'll need to succeed
**We are looking for a professional with**
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Active Certified Public Accountant is required.
At least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
Proficient in English - mandatory.
