This full-time opportunity is perfect for skilled drivers seeking stable work in Ireland. As an HGV/Rigid Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely deliveries, handling minor repairs, and maintaining accurate journey records.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily vehicle checks, including tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water, and fuel levels, to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Drive rigid trucks to and from designated delivery and collection points as per the planned route and schedule.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement of cargo to avoid damage or shifting during transport.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and transport management to confirm delivery routes, schedules, and any changes on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
- Comply with all road safety laws, company regulations, and tachograph rules, including adherence to rest breaks and working time directives.
- Provide excellent customer service when delivering or collecting goods, representing the company in a professional manner.
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs when needed, and promptly report any faults or mechanical issues to the relevant team.
- Respond to emergency call-outs as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ensure cleanliness and overall upkeep of the vehicle to maintain company standards

**Qualifications**:

- Valid EU Code C Heavy Goods Vehicle License.
- 5+ years of relevant HGV/Rigid driving experience.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Valid CPC Certification.
- Willingness to work overtime when required and assist with emergency call-outs.
