**About the Job**

The Valuation Analyst position in Lisbon focuses on dealing with daily valuations which are crucial element for our clients (from NAV calculation for Asset Managers to decision-making for fast money) and for the bank’s risk management (via collateral) and are also the basis for prices on secondary trades.

The Valuation Analyst role isn’t about pricing clients’ requests for quote but it involves a type of ad-hoc decision-making that directly impacts BNPP’s PNL; at the same time, the role demands synthesis and optimization capabilities

**Your Main Activities Are**

They provide clients with high quality, accurate valuations

They take ownership of the valuation chain including its impact on secondary trades

They address requests pertaining to valuations, from client service, sales or collateral management.

They are able to take deep-dives into specific valuations to provide performance analysis.

They actively participates to the development and scalability of the platform in order to improve client

satisfaction by enhancing the quality, speed and accuracy of valuations.

**Profile and Skills to Success**

Master’s in Finance, Maths or Engineering

Up to 3 years of relevant experience

Knowledge in Financial Markets

Excellent Excel skills

- The SCOPE Trading (Secondary Client Offer & Post trade) is a global team in charge of providing a market on secondary trades on exotic products and facilitating various aspects of BNP Paribas’s secondary market, in particular providing our clients with the most accurate daily valuations on the entire range of products (flow and exotics) traded with them, as well as supporting them with performance explanations on their trades. SCOPE occupies a unique and strategic position dealing with the entire gamut of products BNPP’s EQD department has to offer, with constant interactions with Sales and Traders.
