**Job Overview**:

- As a Hardware Engineering Technician, you will be part of an R&D team developing high speed SerDes PHYs. We are looking for a technician with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the team._
- Working in an R&D test lab environment, duties will include:_
- _
PCB rework_
- _
Maintaining lab equipment in a safe, clean orderly and operational manner_
- _
Assembling equipment according to plans_
- _
Maintaining equipment calibration_
- _
Coordinating shipping, equipment/lab supply purchasing and receiving._
- _
Using diagnostic equipment to perform testing on test platforms and silicon implementations of high speed analog integrated circuits._

**Requirements**:

- _
Familiar and capable of using PCB soldering rework tools_
- _
College diploma in electronics_
- _
Proficient use of Microsoft Office software tools_
- _
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment_
- _
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills_

**Other assets include**:

- _
Experience with lab equipments_
- _
Software programming experience (Matlab or Python)_
