**Your main tasks**:

- Collaborate with NPD, Sustaining Tooling, and Tool Builders to improve First Article Inspection FAI and Production Part Approval Process PPAP measurements using Measurement Systems and Software like Zeiss Inspect, Volume Graphics, WinWerth, and Calypso.
- Coordinate with Product Engineer PE, Tool & Die T&D, and Suppliers to develop measurement strategies and analysis using point cloud and CT data to prepare Measurement Reports to meet the Lead time goals.
- Support automation initiatives to enable implementation of Model-Based Definition (MBD) and streamline PPAP by extracting data from FAI reports.
- Assist PE and Suppliers in using measurement reports and digital viewer files for evaluation and tool correction.

**Your ideal background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in dimensional metrology
- Solid knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS); AUKOM Level II and AUKOM GD&T certification preferred
- Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Laser, White Light, and Blue Light Scanners, Industrial Computed Tomography (CT) Scanners & Laser Trackers
- Mobility and willingness to travel for training, cross-site project support, and workshops at Europe, Middle East, India & Africa (EMIA) plants
- Knowledge of automation in dimensional measurement and inspection
- Working knowledge of English and Portuguese Languag
