Atrium was founded by two American commercial brokers in New York who now operate and live in Portugal. This is an oppurtunity to work with the fastest growing Expat-Owned Real Estate Brokerage in Portugal. At Atrium you will be provided with the insight and guidance necessary to succeed in a market which is driven by foreign capital.

This career path is suited for someone who is driven by providing value to their clients. You will be expected to break the “cultural norms” of what it means to provide advisory services to your clients. Anyone who isn’t set on earning a minimum of 100,000 Euros Net should not apply.

Below is a list of key responsibilities in which our agents are expected take on. Atrium provides hands on training with each and every aspect of the integration process necessary to uphold the standards of an Atrium Agent.
- Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.
- Negotiate prices or other sales terms.
- Minimum 1 branded social media post per day to at least 3 platforms focused towards advising clients. Advertisement of property for sale/lease on social media is in addition to this responsibility.
- Compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market price.
- Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters to the best of your ability and seek information when unable to answer a question
- Promote sales of properties through advertisements, open houses, and participation in multiple listing services, social media etc.
- Develop content for sales presentations and other materials.
- Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of property, and advise them on the suitability and value of the property they are visiting.
- Prepare documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds, and leases.
- Confer with escrow companies, lenders, home inspectors, and pest control operators to ensure that terms and conditions of the purchase agreement are met before closing dates.
- Coordinate property closings, overseeing the signing of documents and disbursement of funds.
- Contact property owners and advertise services to solicit property sales listings.
- Arrange for title searches to determine whether clients have clear property titles.
- Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers.
- Attend conventions, seminars, and staff and association meetings to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets.
- Advise sellers on how to make homes more appealing to potential buyers.
- Investigate clients’ financial and credit status to determine eligibility for financing.
- Educate yourself and clients on the process of obtaining EU citizenship through the various Visa options available. Having a full understanding of the qualifications for such Visas will give you the ability to monetize this knowledge through referring your clients. This also increases client retention.
- Inspect the condition of premises and arrange for necessary maintenance or notify owners of maintenance needs.
- Evaluate mortgage options to help clients obtain financing at the best prevailing rates and terms.
- Rent or lease properties on behalf of clients upon request
