**Senior Analyst - UK Pensions Market**

This position will integrate the Wealth Analytical Services team in Portugal.

Having our Shared Services Centers in Portugal, we are a global team delivering analytical services across Wealth solutions to make a difference in our consultants, our clients and their employee’s lives. We also provide more than 50 different services for 16 countries in areas like Actuarial Valuations, Individual Calculations, Investments, Risk Analysis and Pensions Administration.

Through the first 3-6 months, you will be provided adequate training and will be actively supported by your peers to help you understand the ways of working.

Although based in Lisbon, the team works in close contact with our UK colleagues sharing projects and different responsibilities. Comprising various levels of seniority and expertise, this is a diverse team where you will have the possibility to learn and grow both professionally and personally.

**We will count on you to**:

- Perform actuarial calculations mainly focusing on Transfer Values of Defined Benefit Pension Plans;
- Produce detailed Benefit Reports that will allow Pension Plan members to be informed about their entitlement;
- Exceed customer’s expectations by delivering business SLAs - Turnaround time, Accuracy, Productivity, NPS;
- Ensure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are met and maintained to Mercer standards;
- Be bold in thinking and bringing innovative solutions to any barriers encountered;
- Be a wonderful teammate

**What you need to have**:

- Bachelor/ Master’s degree in engineering, math, actuarial science, statistics, economics, management or related field;
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (mandatory);
- Autonomy in planning and organizing your work;
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel);
- Flexibility and adaptability - as the role will demand to switch between tasks and work on ad-hoc requests.
