Solvay is a reference multinational company in its sector, with excellent market positioning in the chemical industry, which intends to strengthen its team with the recruitment of an Accounting Specialist, fluent in English.
Working in one of the most multicultural and multinational environments, this professional will be responsible for the financial closure of a given legal entity within the French market. This professional will also be responsible for comparing the company's recorded transactions with bank statements to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records, assist in the preparation of financial statements, assist with the gathering and organizing of financial data for tax filings, analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement, as well as providing necessary financial documents and reports to support external audits.
We are looking for a professional with a degree in accounting, and experience between 3-4 years in a similar role. This professional must have knowledge in IFRS, strong communication skills, experience working with SAP and Excel. Solid knowledge of spoken and written English will be essential for a good performance in this role.
Knowledge in French and experience working in a Shared Service Center environment would be a highly valuable plus for this profile.
