Mollie processes payments for more than 130,000 merchant clients with local payment methods such as Mastercard, VISA, Amex, PayPal, iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA Direct Debit, Klarna, Cartes, Bancaires, ESP, Giropay, SOFORT Banking, and more.
We’re well-known in the Benelux market and rapidly expanding to the rest of Europe. For this, we need amazing platforms, security and infrastructure that enable our product engineering teams to move quickly and safely. **Your opportunity**:
There is the opportunity at Mollie to take on security architecture responsibility for one or more products, services, or internal capabilities, and to shape both those initiatives and your own career path. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who is smart and can get things done. You will work with our wider Security domain (18-20 people) within an organisation that houses 600-700 people, 250+ within tech.
**What you'll be doing**:
Reporting to the Chief Security Architect, you will work with product owners and engineers to drive beneficial security change through the development and review of architectures that fit business requirements for security, mitigate risks and conform to security policies whilst balancing risks against the cost of countermeasures. You might also direct less experienced Security Architects.
You will enable the design and implementation of secure business products and services, and the development and implementation of security services - whether delivered internally or provided by a third party.
You will be expected to work on your professional development, with support from Mollie and the Chief Security Architect.
