We are on the lookout for a Data Protection Specialist to join our Regulatory Compliance team and support the maintenance of our Privacy Program and execution of data protection requirements.
**Location**: Lisbon
**THE ROLE**
- Researching global data protection standards, with a particular focus on GDPR compliance, and relevant requirements under local laws
- Supporting the development and maintenance of data protection processes, policies, and procedures, based on research findings and practical and commercial requirements
- Supporting the Company’s GDPR readiness, in particular, readiness for an audit by the national data protection authority
- Advising stakeholders on data protection requirements and compliance issues related to projects and campaigns
- Supporting further development and maintenance of the Company’s Privacy Program and execution of data protection requirements (ROPA, Privacy by Design, DPIAs, and others)
- Initiating and monitoring the conclusions of data processing agreements and related negotiations
- Conducting DPIAs and TIAs
- Advising on the due diligence and integration of the Company M&A targets into the data protection processes of the Better Collective Group

**APPLICATION DEADLINE**
Expected start date: as soon as possible.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous professional experience in the implementation of legal and operational data protection requirements, GDPR and other relevant legislative requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Experience in information security would be considered an advantage
- CIPP/E certificate would be a big plus
- Fluent in English, good knowledge of business English and legal terminology
- Excellent analytical skills
- Solid communication skills
