**FINALCIAL CONTROLLER: POSTCODE HOSPITALITY**
This position involves overseeing and managing financial operations for the apartment buildings that POSTCODE manage in Iberia, including financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, vendor and client management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. The Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and collaborating with accounting and tax teams in Spain and Portugal.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Financial and Treasury Management** (management, financial statements, reports for the Group) a. Billing control and cash reconciliation
b. Cash flow forecasting
c. Preparation of financial statements (review of the document by the accounting firm)
d. Preparation of reporting packages
- **Management of Clients and Suppliers**
a. Collection of all utility invoices and other suppliers for nine buildings of four different companies to send to the accounting firm
b. Issuance of invoices between tenant companies and Postcode companies
c. Communication with utility suppliers to resolve issues, missing invoices, and reconcile unpaid amounts with invoices (e.g., Endesa)
d. Management of tenants and rents, handling incidents, complaints, etc.
e. Supplier management: records, changes, cancellations, and communication
f. Communication with accommodation suppliers (Airbnb and Booking) - weekly reconciliation and billing follow-up
g. Configuration and work with the website
h. Collection of relevant supplier information required by the Public Ministry in Portugal
- **Tax Management and Regulatory Requirements**
a. Tax management and notifications from the Tax Authority through the accounting firm
b. Ensure reporting and payment of applicable taxes
c. Monitor the cash/liquidity position of the companies and ensure compliance with senior debt and tax obligations
d. Review and ensure VAT deductibility on supplier invoices
- **Financial Control** (performance and KPIs)
a. Implementation and monitoring of metrics and KPIs
b. Coordination with accounting, tax, and human resources teams in Spain and Portugal
