- OVERVIEW
- As part of our investment into Technology, Operations and SIAM, Kantar is looking to recruit a Data Analyst to be responsible for designing and managing a reporting environment that meets the needs of key internal stakeholders. You will design and implement the initiative to move Kantar Technology Services from a data aware to a data driven organisation, initially focusing on our strategic service providers, including building a reporting repository, developing automated metric capability, producing live operational cross system dashboards, utilising AI powered trend analysis, and supporting the utilisation of data for all business decisions.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- You will lead the technology Services approach to data management, analysis, reporting and visualisation, with the opportunity to implement new and innovative ways to solve our problems-
- You will be responsible for the analysis of data around services provided by our strategic service providers, driving insights that will assure kantar receives value for money and inform strategic decisions on where to invest in new features and products-
- You will be responsible for taking our raw data and through data analysis, creating new insights and interactive dashboards that allow us to rapidly make decisions on priority activities based on service provider information-
- You will work closely with SIAM staff and the senior management team to sell the benefits of being a data driven organisation, and strengthen processes around data quality to ensure there is organisational trust in the data produced-
- You will educate and train users on how to access, and self-serve key reports and rich personalised dashboards-
- For the long-term success of Technology Services, you will benchmark current data maturity levels, and develop and implement a strategy that evolves the service into a data driven organisation, with data embedded into all process decisions.ROLE DESCRIPTION- Design and management of Technology Services’ reporting environment.CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- As member of the Technology Services team, the person will need be able to navigate a complex, relationship driven, environment that is undergoing a period of transformation. The person will need to operate within an environment of uncertainty and regular change until the structure of the standalone Kantar business is fully established.- Work experience as a data analyst or in related field.-
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.-
- Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.-
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.-
- Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.-
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.-
- Ability to forge relationships in a constructive and supportive manner-
- Ability to analyse a range of information sources and to resolve potentially conflicting information and viewpoints to achieve an agreed outcome-
- Understands associated risks and implications, exercises good judgement and confidence in taking action. Wins support for decisions-
- Understands the provision of data analytics and its potential uses in end user experience and automation-
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus-
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and able to explain data sets simply and clearly to key stakeholders-
- Embraces a culture of diversity & inclusion, striving to build a world class global team-
- A relevant Computer Science, Data Science or Data Management qualification, or equivalent related qualifications or experience-
