**About the job**
- The Settlement Operations Team Leader mission is to work within the Securities Settlement Department and manage, oversee and control the team’s actions, performing the main Settlement processes whilst ensuring rules and guidelines are followed and reporting to the Management in a clear and timely manner

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Guarantee the quality and timetable processing of settlement transactions and ensuring day-to-day tasks are processed with quality and a high level of service, by organizing, checking and coordinating the different tasks
- Ensure client specificities databases and internal procedures are known, applied and updated
- Foster the team to perform analysis of client activities, identify gaps and efficiency gains and propose solutions for its implementation
- Report and escalate any sensitive or risky situation to the management and ensure production of consistent reports and KPIs for the activity
- Control that the checklist’s tasks are duly executed in line with internal procedures, market rules and guidelines, therefore mitigating settlement costs and operational risk
- Perform second level of control of the activity and be the point of escalation for any sensitive or risky situation or client escalation
- Participate in internal projects and assignments or client projects/service reviews and contribute to the delivery of client presentations
- Contribute to the overall successful running of the Settlement Department whilst respecting BNP Paribas rules and guidelines in terms of Compliance, Risk and Conduct
- Coordinate the onboarding of new team members, from the recruitment process until the integration and training, by ensuring a structured training plan and regular follow-ups
- Perform a close follow-up of the team members, monitoring performance, assessing training needs and fostering people development

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Bachelor Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting
- Experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral are mandatory
- Knowledge of MS Office Pack (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Communication Skills - oral and written
