We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Administrative team. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in producing key financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, while also driving continuous improvements within our internal audit and reporting processes.
This position is based at our HQ office in Maia.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Analyst**:
- Produce both internal and external financial reporting for the Group, including the Annual Report, Financial Statements, and interim and preliminary statements.
- Ensure that complex and significant accounting transactions are accurately accounted for and reported at the Group level.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management.
- Implement and optimize financial reporting functionalities within the ERP system.
- Drive the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, audit approaches, and related practices, with a focus on leveraging analytics and automation.
- Examine and analyze accounting data, financial records, and operational aspects to ensure financial statements comply with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with enhancing internal audit standards, processes, templates, and audit techniques to increase efficiency and improve overall internal audit delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest accounting standards and regulations.
- ** Financial Reporting Internal Auditor**:
- Review financial leasing and revenue/cost accruals for projects by fiscal entity.
- Perform monthly reviews of individual fiscal accounts and unit accounts.
- Review consolidated accounts for the Group and subgroups.

Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, and internal auditing. ~
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to present complex financial information to senior management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English.

- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.
