We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our team, bringing advanced technical expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Decision Support Systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving technical excellence across projects, serving as a trusted advisor to the Area Manager and providing support to the existing team lead. While your focus will not be on managing the team directly, you will act as a technical guide, mentoring junior team members and serving as the Tech Lead on select high-impact projects.

**We will rely on you to**
- Design, implement, and optimize Machine Learning (ML) models, Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, and Decision Support algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, and deep learning techniques.
- Act as a Tech Lead for complex projects, ensuring technical rigor and driving excellence in implementation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Data Scientists and AI Engineers, fostering their growth and development in collaboration with the current team lead.
- Work closely with the Area Manager, project leads, and other stakeholders to align technical deliverables with strategic goals.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, proactively identifying opportunities to integrate new techniques and approaches into projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying ML/AI models in production environments.
- Broad expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques, including supervised learning (e.g., regression, classification), unsupervised learning (e.g., clustering, dimensionality reduction), reinforcement learning, deep learning, and ensemble methods.
- Practical experience with advanced decision-support systems, optimization techniques, and real-time predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models, and multi-agent systems, while maintaining a strong foundation in classical ML/AI approaches.
- Proficiency in Python or R, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and interpretability techniques.
- Experience with probabilistic models, graph-based algorithms, and time-series forecasting is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), data pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
