The new **Rad Units Ops Lead** will have a key role sustaining and delivering Radiology Operational Unilabs Strategy to improve and control the efficiency levels, standardization of procedures, scan and changeover times, exam protocols with Medical Team, optimize agendas management and booking with Retail Team, etc. With the whole vision of deploying Lighthouse best practices along Radiology Units in Portugal.

He/she is expected to be very close to the daily business, retail and units teams, and with that, have a deep understanding of the radiology operations and/or bring strong learning ability, agility and curiosity, promoting the usage of Data and stablishing the right KPIs to measure the performance and manage the proper decisions.

He/she needs to live and breathe the customer-centric, people-caring culture of Unilabs and trying new innovative approaches. Always under highest level of Quality, Legal, ESG & Compliance Standards.

**The Rad Units Ops Lead will report to the Head of Ops Radiology of Portugal**, working closely with the Retail Regional Leaders and Units Managers, Medical Service, IT, Engineering and Infrastructure and Commercial.

He/she will need to provide real presence and visibility to the role and heavily interact with the Cluster Leadership Team, the staff and their continuing focus on improving the service & reliability of the service. As part of the role, he/she will participate or lead specific transformational and improvement projects in radiology operations service, measuring the outcomes in cost, time and quality.

Finally, he/she will review the financial indicators, Variable, Personal Cost and Opex and any cost actions to control the profitability of the Radiology Units.

:

- Demonstrate functional leadership to support country, regional and unit operations; being a strong partner of retail team.
- Establish strong relationships with the functional business partners and the Country Team;
- Strong Gate Keeper for the P&L bottom line across all Rad units.
- Effectively supervise and analyses the daily operations, ensuring that the principles of Lighthouse model are being deployed.
- Define process principles & targets and identify new ways of working, especially through digitization and data.
- Being a key stakeholder of any Engineering & Facility Project.
- Champions process, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Radiology operations.
- Open to Cross-Border Initiatives and Collaborations. Embedded in the Unilabs Radiology Community.

**Requirements**:
Fluent in English and Portuguese. Power BI management as a plus.

Required:

- Success leading, developing, empowering, and motivating high-performing teams;
- Previous success on Operational areas and complex Project Management;
- Change Management
- Experience working in a multinational context.
- Data & Cost Manager Mindset.
- High Quality, ESG and Compliance mindset.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE

Required
- Deep Health sector experience;
- Strong strategic and operational competence.
- Bottom line P&L Focus
