**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Strategic Leadership**: Develop and execute a comprehensive cyber defence strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- ** Team Management**: Lead and mentor a team of cyber security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- ** Threat and Vulnerability Management**: Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- ** Incident Response**: Coordinate and manage the response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal impact on business operations.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cyber security.
- ** Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a cohesive approach to cyber security.
- ** Technology Oversight**: Evaluate and implement advanced security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s cyber defence capabilities.
- ** Reporting**: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of the organization’s cyber security posture.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CISM) is preferred.
- ** Experience**: Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- ** Skills**:

- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
