Our client is a reference in their business sector activity (FMCG) and they are looking to reinforce their structure with a Category Manager to their Skin Division.
This role sits within a marketing team, organized in a matrix, where each category leader is also
champion of 3 brands. All the brands are with a footprint beyond Skin, so this person task is also to actively influence the brand marketing plans. This role is a Marketing Manager one and goes way over usual Brand Manager responsibilities, both in terms of scope of business (several brands in several categories); people management and external network (media interface and purpose program in Schools).

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Mass Skin Category, making the necessary choices between brands, formats and channels, keeping the eyes in delivering the Business KPI’s of USG, GM%, Penetration and Market Share
- Manage brands positions in the market and crystalize targeted consumer’s insights
- Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies
- Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies, obtaining approval for plans at C-Level
- Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action”
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Coach the team and get the best from everyone
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
- Manage a complex regional and global network (different communication channels for each

brand and category)
- Be the media spokesperson for the 3 brands with particular emphasis
- Anticipate bottlenecks and work fast on alternative routes
- Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
- Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 7 years of FMCG management (Mkt, CD or Cat Trade)
- Strong background on media management and global/regional networks
- Drive for results and leaderships skills
- Evidence Based decision making
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Highly creative, prone to break boundaries
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
- Excellent command of the English language
