As a Kitchen Helper you'll play a vital role in the smooth operation of our kitchen by ensuring the cleanliness and preparation of utensils necessary for meal preparation. You'll be the indispensable support for our kitchen team, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable culinary experience for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, cooking dishes and serving.
- Follow the instructions of the Kitchen Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure regular and thorough cleaning of dishes, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist chefs in preparing main dishes by providing quick and efficient support.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and arranging products in appropriate storage areas.
- Report low stock levels and assist in rotating products to ensure ingredient freshness.
- Communicate effectively with service staff to address kitchen needs in a timely manner.
- Respect food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

**Be a caring member of Léon**:

- Ensure that kitchen facilities and equipment are maintained in good working order.
- Participate in cleaning and maintaining workspaces for employees, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
- Ensure regular maintenance of guest areas, ensuring they are clean, well maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Make sure your working place is a joyful and friendly place.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for cooking and desire to learn and progress in the field.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to the quality of the dishes.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and ability to follow recipes.
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards and ability to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English to facilitate communication with the team and clients, if necessary. Fluency in French would be a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
