Business Information Security Officer (BISO) | Worldpanel & EBS

The Business Information Security Officer (BISO) is the cyber and risk lead for their specific division, and they will work closely with the peer group members within and outside the cyber function (Compliance, Legal, Procurement, etc.).

This is a dynamic role, and the BISO must understand their division(s) in detail. The role will work with the Global Head of BISO and will be a key member of the Global Cyber Security (GCS) Team.

The Enterprise Business Services (EBS) team is responsible for the IT systems used by Kantar’s functions, from Compliance to Marketing, and Legal to Sales. Our aim is to work with our partners in these Functions to co-create the digital solutions they need to perform at their best, improving efficiency and effectiveness across the business.

Key Responsibilities

The BISO will cover all aspects of information Security and IT risk for the region. The BISO will support the businesses as below:
- Develop an understanding relationship with divisional key stakeholders, leading to a trustful partnership where they are the main point of contact for that region’s activities.- Provide security consultancy and advice, and interpretation of standards and policies as needed to deliver business strategy.- Own all assurance for divisional projects, assets, clients and supplier reviews to ensure consistent and high quality implementation that meets the needs and strategy of the business.- Divisional champion of the GCS agenda; gain the support of divisional leadership in implementing change and helping them understand their role in meeting security requirements.- Be the connector of the central security services for their division.- End to end management of findings and actions (from assurance, to documentation, critical issue or exception) and report regularly to divisional management through central GCS processes.- Drive the adoption of behaviours and processes/tools in support of the central security team strategy and in line with the awareness function.- Align with other assurance activities alongside colleagues in Technology, Privacy, Legal, Procurement, etc.- Point of escalation for contractual terms and assurance requests to ensure the best outcome is achieved for the business, and any risks are clearly documented and handled.

Capabilities and Experience- Information Security: previous experience in similar cyber or risk role desirable (8 to 10 years) OR solid understanding of information security with transferable skills.- Influencing: ommunication skills to assist, inform, and build relationships with stakeholders in both the business and support teams, to enable effective information security activities and processes aligned to Kantar’s security strategy.- Curiosity: inquisitive nature and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when, and their relative significance - a desire and enjoyment to learn.- Autonomy: deal with broad set of activities across a varied stakeholder group and handle their work in an ambiguous environment.Location
