**About the job**
- Bonds confirmations team is responsible for the daily execution of operational support related to fixed income business for an array of desks within the Global Markets function. As such, the team provides trade processing, drafting, chasing, reconciliation and matching of deals under BNP Paribas Paris books
- Associates work closely with managers, analysts, settlements and traders to deliver precise and scalable operational support. This position is based within Lisbon Documentation Department and provides mainly bonds and repo coverage.

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Trade Booking/confirmation- Ensuring all trades are accurately booked in the trading systems across all desks.- Meet Regulatory deadlines in confirming Bonds, Repos, Security Lending/Borrowing and Convertible Bonds.- Group Mailbox management- Monitor and act upon all incoming mails in a timely and efficient manner. This is especially important as the team has a direct and close contact with internal and external clients.- Confirmation Database Maintenance- This task is performed via Cosmo, which is an internal database that stores all contact details and other attributes required for regulatory reasons.- Task Station - Monitoring client’s Legal Entities or funds that do not have any contact details set up. Most of the times, it requires a thorough investigation to ensure the correct delivery of confirmations.- Investigate and resolve “NAKs” - where confirmations have failed to be sent due to incorrect contacts. This is necessary to maintain integrity of confirmation contact database.- Manual Swift confirmation via Plasma system.- Swifts MT599 need to be manually prepared to match some clients’ requirements.- Trax Trade Matching System- Trax Match is a real-time post-trade exception management tool which covers a broad range of securities, including fixed income. Complex and multiple changes in regulatory obligations, such as CSDR, SFTR and MiFID II, are creating unique challenges for the industry, requiring firms to ensure quality transaction data as close to execution as possible. Trax Match helps banks to Mitigate operational risk, Improve STP and efficiency, address challenges of MiFID II, CSDR and SFTR and confirm all economic details within minutes of execution via Trax Insight- All the unmatched trades that cannot be found in the bank’s Trading system (Star) have to be escalated and monitored until resolution.- Bond Forwards and Structured Repos- Confirm the accuracy of the trading record by drafting and managing OTC ISDA confirmation and documentation. Liaise with traders and counterparties when appropriate and with legal department to resolve issues.- Due to its more complex nature, certain trades will require confirmations less standardized and manually drafted with specific legal wording. The team is responsible for drafting a confirmation based on templates provided by the Front Office, check its details against the booking, sign the document, chase until the client countersigns confirmation and store the files for audit purposes.**Profile and Skills to Success**
