Commissioning Coordinator

For one of our key partners, we are currently looking for a Senior Commissioning Coordinator to take ownership of commissioning activities on critical HV projects such as substations and grid infrastructure.

As a **Senior Commissioning Coordinator**, you are a key technical authority within the project team. You take end-to-end ownership of commissioning activities during the realization and commissioning phases of high-voltage installations.

You act as the link between project teams, contractors, testers, and clients, ensuring a structured, safe, and complete handover from construction to operation.

**What you will do**:

- Coordinate and verify inspection, testing, and commissioning activities (FAT, MC, SAT, SIT)
- Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Advise Project Managers and Technical Managers on commissioning strategy and execution
- Coordinate and guide Commissioning Engineers and Testers on site
- Oversee inspections and tests, review results, and ensure correct documentation
- Safeguard quality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards
- Act as the key interface between construction, commissioning, and the client
- Contribute to the development and professionalisation of the Commissioning department
- Provide on-the-job guidance and mentoring where required

Projects include substations and high-voltage grid infrastructure across the Netherlands.

**What we are looking for**:

- A technical background in Electrical Power Engineering (HV/MV/LV) or Measurement & Control Technology
- HBO working/thinking level (Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in commissioning, testing, or coordination of HV installations
- Knowledge of high-voltage regulations and safety standards
- Familiarity with NEN 3840, NEN 3140, BEI BHS, and BEI BLS
- Independent, structured, and proactive working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect stakeholders
