**Job overview**:

- Develop and drive world class supplier sourcing strategy, under strong consideration of customer needs, that defines strategic suppliers into grow, fix and exit suppliers and maintains product footprint to ensure competitive advantages
- Achieve critical annual procurement KPIs (Delivery, quality, dual sourcing, LTA %, productivity, inventory, low-cost localization, payment terms, VMI, lead-time reduction, and others
- Manage all aspects of the supplier relationship for our preferred suppliers
- Lead independently negotiations with suppliers and internal customers on the strategy and best total cost of ownership
- Drive cost reduction opportunity with engineering team, lead VA/VE projects
- Engage with NPI teams for new project awareness and proactively work to close technology gaps in strategy
- Develop suppliers per business requirement with cross functions

**What your background should look like**:

- 5+ years procurement experience in the automotive industry
- Experience in cable, cable assembly & connector industry is preferred
- Ability to create competitive strategies and plans, broad knowledge of strategies and tactics of the marketplace, knows trends
- Experience in full life-cycle procurement - category/commodity management, managing sourcing projects, strategic sourcing, fact-based negotiations, cost analysis, price breakdowns, supplier and contract management
- Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership methodology TCO & Should Costing
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, change management skills
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent English, German is an advantage
