Senior Financial Analyst

**Purpose of Position**:
Support, manage and control the Analysis team in order to ensure that proper support to the Executive Management Team on operational metrics is delivered on a timely manner and that financial and operational assessment and critical analysis of business development opportunities are executed in order to provide reliable indicators useful for business strategy planning. It is a key role in ensuring management is receiving comprehensive and timely information enabling well-informed decision making.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Exercises judgement in planning, organizing and performing work; monitors performance and reports status within area of responsibility;
- Liaise with different business units in order to assess their business needs that can be fulfilled through the Analysis team with regards to the value of potential investments, new products/services and ad hoc analysis to identify best business development opportunities;
- Oversee the financial and operational analysis and assessments of business variables, risks and trends developed by the team in order to ensure that clear and accurate output is provided to the EMT to support business strategy planning and decision making processes;
- In liaison with the Financial Planning & Analysis manager or the Planning & Analysis Director, evaluate costs reduction initiatives and monitor the overall NJE cost structure against budget in order to identify and analyse expense reduction opportunities that can contribute to company strategic cost saving goal;
- Oversee the support provided by the team to Business Units managers with regards to analysis of financial data (collect, interpret and analyse data), budget control and monthly reports, in order to ensure accurate indicators are provided to allow solid business decisions and help them to better follow the cost centre’s annual budget;
- Analyse and interpret financial and operating results, including investigating variances and making recommendations on corrective actions. Develop meaningful KPI's from the data;
- Support the Financial Planning & Analysis manager in the preparation, projection and control of annual budget and 10 YP, monitoring current results against budget and produce monthly variance reports;
- Prepare business plans, cash flow analysis, return on investment metrics, profit & loss impacts, scenarios and sensitivity analysis to provide the ELT with accurate data to support strategic decisions;
- Prepare ongoing financial forecasts, providing different “scenarios” to provide financial indicators that could help business strategy planning;
- Develop and provide ad-hoc reports requested by the different departments (from Finance Divisions, Operations or central departments) guaranteeing accurate data to enable manager’s department to take appropriate actions;
- Provide operational/financial metrics and analytical/reporting tools to provide adequate data useful for business decision making;
- Prepare reports regarding NJE financial activity to provide an accurate picture of NetJets Operations that explains the variations observed;
- Oversee the FP&A monthly reporting package in accordance with established deadlines, and develop new reports aligned with Management needs.

- Bachelor's in Economics or Management

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)**:

- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, preparing financial reports and creating budgets and forecasts;
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software and familiarity with finance databases;
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in Analytics tools;
- Very good skills in MS Office (Excel - creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas);
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts;
- Fluency in Business English;
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
