**About the role**:
We are thrilled to announce that we are searching for an experienced Ethics & Compliance Manager to join our Global Legal Leadership team.
Based in our European Head Offices in Lisbon, Portugal the Ethics & Compliance Manager will form a senior member of our esteemed Legal Ethics & Compliance Team and will oversee and manage ethics and compliance responsibilities for Orica's rapidly growing EMEA region.
Working collaboratively with the EMEA legal team, other members of Orica's Global Ethic’s & Compliance team, and other business stakeholders, the role ensures adherence to applicable ethics and compliance laws, policies, and regulations, as well as Orica’s Group Standards.

Travel across our European and African business locations will be necessary in the role, estimated in a range of 25-35%.
**What you will be doing**:
- Identify, address and manage ethics and compliance issues across Orica’s EMEA region.
- Collaborate closely with the EMEA legal team to identify risks and provide ethically compliant commercial solutions.
- Manage approval and notification processes under the Ethics & Compliance program for EMEA-related matters.
- Implement, track, and report on employee training programs related to ethics and compliance.
- Monitor, report, and provide training on new and relevant ethics and compliance developments in the EMEA region.
- Represent Orica in interactions with partners, suppliers, customers, industry groups, and regulatory authorities on ethics and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with Orica's global Ethics & Compliance Team to continually improve the company's global compliance framework and systems.
- Conduct and assist in investigations related to ethics and compliance matters in the EMEA region.
**What you will bring**:
- Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience, with a preference for 5+ years in ethics and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of EMEA ethics and compliance laws and regulations.
- Significant experience in identifying and managing ethics and compliance issues across the EMEA region.
- Experience in anti-corruption, competition/anti-trust, and trade sanctions.
- Proven experience in multiple countries, including high corruption risk countries.
- Desirable experience in a multi-national listed company.
- Advanced fluency in English (verbal and written); additional languages like French, Portuguese, or Spanish are preferred but not essential.
- Preferred experience with data privacy, including GDPR.
