**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from large, diverse data sets;
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand data and analytics needs, translating them into effective data science solutions;
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, supporting their technical growth and career development;
- Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and AI, recommending innovative approaches;
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders;
- Ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and high-quality deliverables;
- Contribute to the development of the company's data science infrastructure and tools.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Qlik View, PowerBI, or Tableau;
- Strong understanding of design principles and translating requirements into technical specifications;
- Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience as a data scientist or similar role, preferably in a multinational environment;
- Experience leading and mentoring data science teams;
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Scala, and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka);
- Strong self-management and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of data management (ETL) and Snowflake is a plus;
- Experience with agile methodologies;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Fluency in English is mandatory;
- European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Work Visa/Residency;
- Availability to work in the office once a week.
