**Company Overview** Team.blue was created in June 2019 by the merger of regional leading hosting providers Combell Group, Register Group and TransIP Group. team.blue is an ecosystem of 60+ successful brands working together across 22 European countries to provide its 3.5 million SMB customers with everything they need to succeed online by offering best-in-class expertise and services. **Our values** The five characteristics that drive our behaviours and the heart of our business culture: - We put our customers at the heart of everything we do. - We’re stronger together, and we trust each other to do the right thing. - We tell it like it is and keep doors and minds open. - We treat each other with respect and regard. - We’re always thinking "What’s next"? **Position Overview** Our **Finance Excellence Centre in Lisbon** has been successfully supporting our acquired SaaS companies for the past year, ensuring streamlined financial processes and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. - Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations. - Assist in preparing financial reports and contribute to annual accounts preparation. - Work closely with different teams to ensure proper financial transactions and expense allocations. - Identify discrepancies and support the resolution of general ledger issues. - Provide documentation and support for audits (annual and tax-related). - Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and automation in finance operations. **Qualifications & Skills** - **Bachelor’s degree** in **Business Administration, Finance, Accounting**, or a related field. - **1-3 years of experience** in accounting or finance; exposure to international environments or shared service centers is a plus. - Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). - Fluency in English; additional European language skills are a plus. - Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a desire to grow professionally. **Right to work** Unfortunately, we are unable to support Sponsorship Visas. **"Come as you are"** Everyone is welcome here.
