Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of our consumers, contributing to a healthier future. We are looking for an **Accounting Operations Specialist** to join our team. Your mission will be to be responsible for a given area for the Period End Closing and Statutory Reporting processes in Finance including the remaining Accounting related processes in the market. Act as the guardian of the market accounting policies and procedures and single point of contact for Center of Scale in Accounting Operations related questions and improvement initiatives. **A day in the life of an Accounting Operations Specialist** - Coordinate Period End Closing in area of responsibility and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Ensure compliance with Nestlé guidelines, instructions and best practices of market related scopes. Contribute to market AO policies and procedures. - Support Shared Service Center and Function in driving End to End improvement initiatives. Participate as needed in operational review meetings. - Produce (parts of) Market Statutory Reporting in compliance with local accounting regulations. - Perform reconciliation of accounts not under the Shared Service scope and post corrections. - Prepare analysis/calculation and create non-rules based manual journal request using the proper tools. - Create and maintain fixed asset master data. Initiate and approve fixed asset movement containing all needed information using workflow. Settle assets under construction (AUC) in SAP. - Coordinate/perform physical inventory and approve results. Ensure fixed asset register is up-to-date and accurate. **What will make you successful** - BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting or Finance or formal Accountancy qualification. - Significant Experience in Accounting / Finance. - Experience at least 2/3 years on fulfillment of income tax return mod.22 - Registered in "ordem dos contabilistas certificados" (eliminatory condition) - At least 2/3 years on Multinational environment (preferential condition) - ERP SAP experience
