Equity Derivatives Sales Execution Trainee French

**About the job**
- This specific internship is within a team covering Switzerland and France with a focus on the French market. The trainee will report directly to the head of the pod and to the local team member responsible for France. The main objectives and missions of the trainee will be to assist and support the other front office members in their day-to-day activities

**Your Main Activities Are**

Post-Trade Tasks
- Interact with Clients on ad hoc daily queries
- Finalize booking of traded deals in the Front Office systems
- Draft and review marketing and legal documentation
- Communicate and upload necessary documentations in internal or external systems
- Monitor the issuance of products to spot and solve booking or settlement issues and interact with our internal MO to BO chain
- When applicable, monitor the inventory of live products to work on life-cycle events
- When applicable, monitor agency trades prior to the settlement date and assist in the collection of the custodian orders

Pre-Trade Tasks
- Interact with Clients to finalize their on-boarding
- When applicable, run pre-trade checks and limits

Pricing of Clients’ Reverse Inquiry Requests
- Price incoming Reverse Inquiry requests
- Run batches of pricings to help structure internal or external campaigns
- Liaise with Structuring to price more complex products
- Liaise with Trading to check price validity

Digitalization / Automation
- Share feedback and improvement ideas to increase streamlining of the workflows

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Master Degree in Engineering, Mathematical, Finance or Economics
- Fluency in English & French is mandatory
- Strong interest in Financial Markets, with focus in Equities, Derivatives and Structured Products
- Computer skills: MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Coding skills like VBA & Python are a plus
- Be able to work on a stressful environment

- The EQD Execution Sales teams, comprised of Primary and Secondary Sales and Sales Assistant, provide clients with tailor-made investment and hedging solutions, using a wide range of multi-asset underlyings and over a large spectrum of payoffs and derivatives. Clients range from large institutions to private banks and retail located in many different jurisdictions in EMEA.
- Overall, the EQD Execution teams are responsible of delivering excellent client service by ensuring that the sales process over the entire value chain occurs smoothly. We also proactively focus on digitalization, automation and in general using data and analytics to improve the client’s journey and the bank’s ability to grow market share.
