As a Senior DBA with PostgreSQL and SQL Server at Ivy Partners, your responsibilities will include:
We’re looking for a Database Administrator with 5+ years of experience in supporting mission-critical environments on the following technologies:
- Mandatory:
- PostgreSQL/EDB
- MS SQL Server
- Preferred:
- AWS RDS
- AWS Redshift
- Optional:
- Oracle
- MySQL & MySQL cluster
Upper intermediate level (B2) of written and spoken English is a must.
About You
It’s also required the knowledge of some of these script languages:
- PSQL
- TSQL
- SQL
- PL/SQL
- Shell scripting
- Perl
- Powershell
- Python
- Master degree in Information Technology / Maths / Physics / Statistics / Engineering or equivalent working experience.
- Strong persuading and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- The ability to liaise with different levels of staff within the organization.
- Good team player.
- Must be motivated to progress in the role.
- Self-starter with the ability to plan and manage work according to deadlines.
- Pragmatic approach.
- Willingness to share experience/knowledge.
