**_Job Overview and Responsibilities_**
Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Credit Management, Procurement, Human Resources and Transformation activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Set the Service Excellence strategy and approach for GBS: Establish the continuous improvement methodology for GBS, including the approach for establishing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in the GBS operations and Service Lines.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment: Collaborate with key stakeholders to align CI initiatives with business priorities and objectives. Build strong relationships and effectively communicate the value proposition of CI and automation to drive engagement and support.
Work with the Service Lines Leadership and operational managers to support them and identify opportunities for process improvement and transformation (standardization, simplification and automation), shortlist prioritized opportunities (with a business case) and implement approved initiatives.
- Strategic Execution of Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive CI plan aligned with objectives and challenges. Utilize Lean methodology to identify improvement opportunities, lead project management efforts, and track progress towards goals.
- Capability Development: Serve as a mentor and trainer to enable capability development for leaders and practitioners in continuous improvement methodologies. Develop and deliver training content tailored to enhance skills and drive CI initiatives.
- Automation Opportunity: Proactively identify opportunities to utilize process mining and task mining and other technological tools such as data analytics, Automation, AI to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of market developments to bring the best innovation opportunities to GBS (e.g. Gen AI, Process and Task Mining), working closely with Syensqo.ai to ensure alignment with Syensqo latest thinking
- Benchmarking and Best Practice Sharing: Engage in benchmarking exercises to identify best practices. Leverage benchmarking insights to drive CI efforts and ensure alignment with industry standards and trends.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of CI initiatives and track progress towards goals. Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to the management team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Staff Management
- Set priorities and/or plan work for a weekly or daily schedule.
- Ensure that team output is in line with applicable delivery indicators, quality, deadlines, cost and work in line with group standards (e.g. Health and Safety).
- Ensure team member development and career progression.
**_Education and Experience_**
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience of minimum 10 years in continuous improvement, process optimization and automation.
Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen and experience leading improvement projects.
Black Belt certified preferred.
Accreditation as a Kaizen Facilitator or similar certification preferred.
Technical expertise in areas within GBS preferred.
Experience of using task mining and process mining (Celonis, Soroco or other technology) to deliver a step change in productivity improvements
