**Job Description Summary**

Ensures the financial/accounting management of suppliers. Organises, monitors, controls, and reports on administrative and financial activities following internal standards and the company's overall strategy.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of the general accounting.
- Resident expert on the AP and AR systems.
- Provides assistance and/or coaching to junior accountants.
- Completes complex reports in an accurate and timely manner and according to business controls and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Researches and verifies discrepancies in a current and accurate manner.
- Prepare internal and external audit schedules and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
- Processes the accounting data used for drafting the balance sheet and accounting statements.
- Assists with month-end close.
- Assist with the implementation of accounting systems as necessary.
- The scope of the position will include a wide range of difficult and complex problems.
- Collaborates directly with other departments.
- Work is assigned in terms of objectives.
- Review of work results is based on objectives at predetermined milestones.
- Work is more complex with difficult situations requiring investigation.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field is required. Master’s degree highly desired.
- 5 plus years of experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry or related field preferred.
- Good Knowledge of SAP ERP Systems.
- Must have intermediate
- Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required.
- Good English language skills (spoken and written).
- Proficiency level Portuguese (spoken and written).
- CPA (OCC) or CMA a plus.
