We are looking for an experienced Data Protection Manager for our central Compliance & Data Protection team.

**YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Supporting the different FREENOW markets and departments (Revenue Assurance, Rider and Driver Care, Product, Tech, Marketing, IT, etc.) in regards to data protection related topics and projects (supported by local DPOs)
- Management and improvement of processes for the fulfilment of requests to exercise GDPR rights
- Reviewing and negotiation of data protection agreements
- Reviewing and implementation of data protection requirements during service provider on
- and offboarding
- Planning and execution of data protection projects within the FREENOW app
- Carrying out of Transfer Impact and Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Carrying out of Legitimate Interest Assessments
- Development and administration of data protection trainings
- Assistance to the Head of Compliance & Data Protection with assessment and handling of data breaches and notifications to data protection authorities
- Reviewing and alignment on technical and organisational measures with the Information Security and IT department
- Legal Monitoring

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE**:

- University degree in law, information technology, management or similar
- Data Privacy Certification favourable but not mandatory
- 3+ years experience in a similar position preferably in the tech industry
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data protection issues in a simple way to a diverse stakeholder audience
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a structured and easily understandable way
- Process-oriented and independent work style
- Fluency in English and ideally another language
