**Finance/HR Specialist**

This role, reporting to the CFO, is integral in advancing the Finance function by leading the implementation of new processes and systems within the company. The specialist will focus on delivering finance-specific analysis, overseeing treasury administrative transactions, and performing cashflow analysis. Additionally, this position will contribute to the execution of actions aimed at improving company performance, profitability, sustainability, and continuous business process enhancement. The specialist will also support the HR department with labor compliance activities in various geographies, including payroll, benefits, and labor law compliance, working closely with the VP of People. The role involves supporting daily activities at the Lisbon Office and managing all labor insurance processes.

**Support to the Finance function**:

- Manage month-end and year-end accounts closing
- Provide cost control analysis and recommendations to management
- Oversee treasury management, including bank relations, and cashflow projections and analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Maintain relationships with third-party payroll and benefits providers
- Support daily financial operations, including reviewing month-end packages, expense reports, credit cards, AP, AR, etc.
- Handle contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease agreements
- Assist with general office administration, including implementing and maintaining procedures and administrative systems

**Support to the HR function**:

- Ensure labor and tax compliance in the assigned geographies
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to flawlessly execute all payroll processes and related activities in an international context
- Knowledge of payroll processes in France, the UK, the US, Portugal, and Japan is a plus
- Manage benefits operational support and management across international contexts
- Oversee the Time & Attendance platform, ensuring data accuracy and reporting (experience with platforms like ODOO is preferred)
- Handle on
- and off-boarding processes, coordinating internally with various departments and externally with local and state authorities and HR partners
- Serve as the support point for HSE/Occupational Health processes and labor insurance, liaising with external partners as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Experience in finance or a related field, or a degree in Finance
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI knowledge is a plus
- 10 years of experience in similar roles
- Results-driven with a practical and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Experience working in diverse, international, and multicultural environments, promoting Diversity and Inclusion
