**About the role**:
We are looking for a
**Country Support Officer, Portugal, **who will work with the Lisbon & Portuguese government and its agencies to ensure seamless partnership with our host city & country for our flagship event while establishing opportunities for future events in cities around the world.

**What you’ll achieve**:

- You’ll support the Country Manager with their daily operations, including in RFP negotiations and managing country contracts.
- You’ll support and engage with various internal teams and external stakeholders such as Partners, Speakers & Investors for operational, corporate relations and community engagement purposes.

**Who you are**:

- Degree in economics/management or international relations preferred.
- 7-10 years work experience (public sector preferred).
- You’re capable of utilising your positive rapport to nurture constructive, strategic relationships with stakeholders.
- You’re an experienced negotiator in complex proposal and tender processes.
- You’re an able communicator with the ability to network, secure referrals and leverage contacts.
- You’re a problem solver, always looking for a solution that benefits all parties.
- You’re resilient, polite, with knowledge of protocol, and a ‘doer’.
- You’re fluent in Portuguese & English - A third language such as Spanish or French is also desirable.
