**ROLE SUMMARY**:

As we continue our exciting growth journey, we’re looking for a proactive and highly organised **HR Generalist** to join our dynamic team at our **Head Office in Alfragide, Portugal**, right next to one of our flagship schools, PaRK International School.- In this pivotal role, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, international environment, supporting key HR operations across Portugal and collaborating closely with teams from across our global network. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a broad skill set across all areas of Human Resources.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Onboarding**:

- Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth and efficient start.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and physical.

**Employee Records & Compliance**:

- Manage and update personnel records, including mandatory training evidence and service declarations.
- Oversee the preparation, management, and renewal of employment contracts, ensuring all deadlines are met and documents are in compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for internally promoted staff and other HR-related processes.

**HR Operations & Administration**:

- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees.
- Support payroll processes by compiling and verifying data such as staff changes, absences, and new hires.
- Handle administrative tasks related to health insurance, employee benefits, and other routine HR duties.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of leaver paperwork and facilitate offboarding processes.
- Manage the reporting and documentation of work accidents, ensuring timely communication with relevant authorities and adherence to legal protocols.
- Handle administrative tasks related to occupational medicine, including coordinating health appointments, maintaining up-to-date health records and coordinating follow-up actions as needed.

**Training & Development**:

- Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s training plan.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes and contribute to various HR projects as needed.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or related fields.
- Strong administrative experience with excellent organizational skills.
- Previous HR experience or a keen interest in developing a career in HR.
- Proficiency in using HR information systems and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to listen effectively and be sensitive to others.
- Ability to cope well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, ideally with an understanding of the Portuguese employment law.
