We are currently recruiting for a Shared Service Center looking to expand its team. This role will be responsible for implementing financial/accounting policies and procedures in line with Group guidelines. The position will operate in office in Porto for the group's entities in Romania.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Completion of duties connected with VAT return, maintenance of VAT register, preparation of VAT declaration. Reconciliation of VAT register, declaration to the GL accounts
- Booking payroll settlements, monitoring and reconciliation of payroll GL accounts
- Analyzing, controlling and reconciliation of accounting records in GL to source documents and subledgers
- Preparation of income tax declarations and differed tax calculation
- Reconcile accounts and inventory balances in the process of month closing (calculation and registration of consumption)
- Setting provisions and accruals for the month-end closing (holiday pay, bonuses, not received invoices, etc)
- Preparation of statutory, financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, changes in equity, cash flow, additional information ) with support of external experts
- Cooperation with auditors, tax controllers
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Registration and reconciliation of fixed assets
- Month closing tasks: revaluation of accounts, balance sheet review, preparation of month closing files
- Legal reporting - financial result monthly and full package twice a year

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- At least 3-year experience in accounting area (production environment is a plus)
- You are fluent in Romanian and English (written and speech), knowledge of German will be a plus
- Degree Accountancy/Economy/Finance/Controlling or equivalent field of study is required
- Affinity with IFRS accounting standards
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office
- Knowledge of Wizzpro, SAP will be a plus
