**What are your main responsibilities?**
- Plan (budgeting / forecasting), steer, control and report R&D projects and define the necessary scope of control according to the size and complexity of the individual project
- Work together with the Project Managers at the topics Creating Requirement, Development Specification, Change Requests and for all Project discussions
- Develop, calculate and update business plans (EVA calculations) for R&D projects, based on Target costing principles
- Monitor, analyze and control product costs with regards to target cost achievement during the development phases
- Plan and monitor the Cost Center and cost-/activity accounting of the relevant R&D Cost Center including the hourly rate calculation
- Secure a proper handling of R&D data for monthly closings and cost allocations to the IPR shareholder

**What do you need to qualify for this job?**
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Finance or similar.
- Strong project management skills are essential, including the ability to plan, steer, control, and report on R&D projects. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and project scope definition is necessary.
- Knowledge of target costing principles and EVA calculations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary to identify and address any deviations from target costs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are necessary to manage multiple R&D projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong knowledge in MS-Office and SAP R/3 incl. Module CO, MM, SD
- Fluent English skills and additional German skills would be appreciated
