Service Management Office (SMO) Senior Service Transition Analyst - Job description
Kantar are hiring a dedicated ITSM Senior Service Transition Analyst, a new role, to support a newly set up Service Management Office. Reporting into the ITSM Manager for EMEA, this role will focus on establishing and delivering the new IT Service Transition policy, processes, and tooling.
Goals and responsibilities
- Take ownership and lead the implementation and adoption of the Service Transition function across Kantar
- Act as a domain guide, and point of escalation, to support all IT departments in all aspects of Service Transition
- Support the development of a clear strategy, aligned to Service Transition goals and objectives
- Work closely with the PMO and Project managers to ensure all projects are following the accurate transition governance
- Liaise with Project Managers and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure new or changed services introduced to the production environment are supportable, balanced and deliver business outcomes
- Work with support teams to ensure that all supporting documentation has been provided and agreed, and that all service acceptance criteria has been met prior to implementation
- Communicate effectively with team members throughout the lifecycle of the transition.
- Work with Project Managers to build & handle Service Transition trackers and readiness plans
- Review project work for quality and accuracy and enforcing standards
- Understand and document any risks associated with the transition of services into the production environment
- Drive strategic roadmaps for the Service Transition function to deliver continued service improvement
- Provide monthly MI and reporting
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering ITIL standard processes
- Previous experience in a Service Management/Service Transition Management role
- Proven track record and experience in introducing ITIL compliant processes
- Up to date knowledge on assets and CMDB models and methodologies
- Experience liaising / working with 3rd party suppliers
- Good attention to detail
- ITIL Practitioner Level - In one or more relevant ITIL disciplines - Required
- ITIL Expert Level - Preferred (V3 Expert or V Managing Professional)
- ServiceNow experience - Required
- SIAM awareness
- Agile awareness
- Good interpersonal skills, confident to communicate with team members to senior level
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Problem solving skills
- Self-organized and focused. Ability to adapt to varying team member requirements
