**The role.**

**General Manager - Locke de Santa Joana, Lisbon.**

Are you a born leader? A guest and brand focused host with unbelievable multi-tasking abilities? Do you get energy from leading, developing and coaching your motivated team on a distinctive brand that you are passionate about? You’ll be captain of the ship and guardian of the Locke brand, managing and leading the overall operation.

Responsible for the consistent aesthetic of the hotel, inline with the original design and staging, as well as being responsible for the brand activation within your Locke property. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll have a strong understanding of how to maintain and enrich the Locke brand, epic people management and a natural flair for delivering service that makes guests rave about their stay and want to come back.

**What it looks like.**
- Creating tell-your-mates experiences that make guests want to keep coming back
- Curate impressive cultural programming to reflect local neighbourhood culture by building relationships with local partners
- Being ‘in the know’ on local goings-on and inspiring guests with new ideas
- Acknowledging and acting on guest reviews in a way that shows Locke cares
- Coaching and being accountable for your team, including setting SMART objectives
- Encouraging open communication across your team, including regular team meetings
- Recruiting,training and developing top-notch talent

**What you'll need.**
- Love for hosting communities and creating thoughtful spaces
- Knowledge of local community desirable
- Experience with brand management and delivery
- Human-led leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Hospitality experience managing a team and a busy property
- Intuitive customer service, with proven sales ability and savvy negotiating skills
- Strong grasp of written and spoken English

- You’ll work 40 hours per week
- We believe in working flexibly - this includes flexibility in work location, working days (including weekends and bank holidays in operations) and working hours. This may be ad hoc or permanent flexibility. Ask your recruiting manager or see our careers page for more information.

Responsável pela estética consistente do hotel, em conformidade com o design original e cenografia, além de ser responsável pela ativação da marca dentro da sua propriedade Locke. Reportando-se ao Diretor de Operações, você terá uma forte compreensão de como manter e enriquecer a marca Locke, excelente gestão de pessoas e um talento natural para prestar serviços que fazem os hóspedes elogiarem a sua estadia e quererem voltar
