Aviation (Camo) Safety & Compliance Monitoring

AEPS is recruiting a Safety and Compliance Manager in the frame of its development and approval / certification expansion. Over the past 15 years, AEPS has been supporting Airlines, private Operators and Owners, Asset management, Leasing and Financing Companies, OAM/OEM and AMO, by providing adaptive and tailored solutions. Our core business is CAMO and technical/expertise services, but not only, as we also assist our clients with airworthiness consulting and store/logistics services. Today, AEPS is operating from two technical offices, Bangkok, Thailand, and Lisbon, Portugal, delivering worldwide, Our moto is: Safety, Solutions, and Satisfaction. Key activities / Responsibilities: The Safety & Compliance Manager is in charge of performing the different tasks of Quality Assurance Management and Safety Management System in order to ensure that AEPS’ approvals and certifications are not compromised, as well as the company’s standards are being maintained. He/She will support the co-ordination of aviation safety development and compliance activities at AEPS in accordance with applicable regulations. The Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager is also managing the Safety & Compliance Monitoring department team: lead, monitors, and supervise team member. Local and international travels have to be expected. Applicants need to hold Portuguese or EU citizenship and speak/write/understand fluently Portuguese - AEPSdoes not provide visa/immigration facilitation. Education Requirement: - Holder of an aeronautical or engineering degree or national equivalent, - Formal aeronautical maintenance training, - Proficiency level of English and Portuguese. Minimum Working Experiences: - At least 8 years' experience in a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization or Approved Maintenance Organization environment, - Including minimum 5 years’ experience in a position with appropriate responsibilities, Knowledge and Skills: - Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese, plus Thai and/or French is an advantage, - Good knowledge of commercial transport aviation and aircraft leasing industry, including safety and airworthiness, - Familiar with compliance to technical data for aircraft maintenance, engineering and continuing airworthiness, - Excellent knowledge in civil aviation authorities’ regulations, EASA, ANAC, BCAA and 2-REG. CAAT is a plus, - Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, EN/AS 9110/9120) - Expert level root cause investigation and analysis, - Working knowledge of internal auditing, having performed the Auditor Training according to the International Standard ISO 19011 is a plus, - Working knowledge of Safety Management System and processes management, with adequate training and experience, - Be knowledgeable about the Management Information System, That being said, why to join AEPS ?
