**Welcome to our Team**

The GSS Source to Settle (StS) Senior Specialist will work with a team of around 6/8 members in the GSS Lisbon delivering and managing end to end StS processes. Additionally, the StS Senior Specialist will work daily with our global BPO partner who executes StS Transactional services for Organon in a regional scope. The Senior Specialist will be expected to work in a selection of the StS process areas from Purchase Order Management and Invoice Processing. Experience in as many of these StS processes as possible is valuable. The Senior Specialist will also operationally support Vendor master data.

The Senior Specialist will contribute to ensuring all StS processes and transactions comply with accounting standards, policies, SOX and statutory requirements. The Senior Specialist will also provide input to the global process owner group for operational opportunities for process and control design, as well as vendor experience. The StS Center team will be organized regionally, so the Senior Specialist will be working within the Americas region. As well as having responsibility for successful delivery of StS operations for their region, the Senior Specialist will help to oversee service delivery from our BPO partner and will work collaboratively with Organon vendors, Procurement and Organon Markets to have a full understanding of our vendors and our business dynamics.

Organon was established as an independent company in June of 2021 and Organon GSS is now in the process of standing up our Global Service Center.

The StS Senior Specialist will be a key contributor in standing up StS Operations. They will help to build strong governance and relationships and establish stable, effective, standardized and controlled StS Process delivery to our GSS clients. Concurrently, Organon is implementing its Global ERP SAP S/4 Hana platform and the GSS StS team will assume a core role in supporting this implementation.

**StS Proces**s delivery**:

- Deliver services in accordance with agreed Service Level, Controls and Governance.
- Help to manage process risk by adhering to policies and internal controls, complying with StS guidelines, ensuring process and SOX controls are executed in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and related internal control documentation.
- Bring a process improvement focus, supporting implementation of best practices and a project management discipline.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support successful audit results and compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Support training, accuracy, and timely delivery of work outputs.
- Engage with process owners and other GSS Center colleagues to help identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through continuous improvement.
- Maintain professional and detailed process documentation such as global SOPs, Regional Work Instructions etc in coordination with the StS Global Process Owner.

- Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, align expectations and ensure an “end to end” approach to process change and improvements.
- Administer 'world-class service' experience for vendors, fellow employees, and stakeholders.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related to StS.
- Up to 5 years’ experience in StS processes.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish is mandatory.
- Experience working on regional or global teams. (Valued: Experience of Launching / Standing up a Shared Service Operations).
- Demonstrated high level experience and skills in the leadership, management and deployment of multi-disciplined invoice processing/ accounts payable / P2P teams.
- Experience with Internal or External Audit valued.
- Demonstrated experience working in large teams collaboratively.
