**UHF Tactical Satellite Basic Training

- **Security Clearance**: NATO Secret**
- **Language**:High proficiency level in English language

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of:
ü Current NATO UHF TACSAT waveforms

ü NATO operating procedures relevant to current UHF TACSAT operations

ü AN/PRC-117F radio operation and maintenance, to include antennas and ancillaries

ü UHF TACSAT satellite communications to include Single Channel Per Carrier (SCPC), Demand Assign Multiple Access (DAMA) and Integrated Waveform (IW)
- Experience with development of technical documentation, training materials, instructional and learning aids

**Desirable Qualifications/Experience**:

- A0037 TACSAT Basic Operator Certificate of Completion
- A0038 UHF TACSAT Application and Data Base Manager Certificate of Completion
- A0970 NATO CIS Technical Instructor or equivalent Certificate of Completion
- Knowledge and experience of working with the NCISS or NCI Academy

**DUTIES/ROLE**:

- Course programme coordination and confirmation of scheduling through the Tactical Radio SME or designate
- Pre-course iteration preparation of the learning environment and materials
- Delivery of training and completion of student assessments according to the course control documents, lesson plans and schedule of activities; and
- Post-course iteration recovery for end-of-training reporting on the course conduct, results and recommendations for continuous improvement in accordance with the Quality Assurance Template (Annex D) and verbal out brief with the Tactical Radio SME or designate
- Course iterations

ü All of the learning objectives shall be covered according to the course syllabus

ü Tactical Radio SME approved course material shall be used

ü Individual feedback on formative assessment shall be provided to students

ü Customer satisfaction feedback on instructor delivery shall maintain an average score of at least 4 out of 5

ü Recommendations for continuous improvement of the course
- Course updates

ü The training materials shall be updated with the Tactical Radio SME to ensure consistency as and when required
- Coaching and mentoring

ü A pro-active approach to engage with and advise students to ensure value-added learning support throughout course iteration delivery
