**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and configure virtualized systems in Amazon Web Services environment.
- Ensure the security and performance of AWS environments.
- Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and implementation issues.
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to and promote IT policies and procedures to ensure good governance.
- Support the selection and technical due diligence of new solutions and services.
- Design, define and approve AWS architectures in accordance with best practices.
- Recommend improvements to hybrid AWS cloud systems (on premise).
- Validate potential solutions in order to ensure the business continuity plan.
- Ensure the implementation of best cloud security practices, taking into account the client's compliance requirements.
- Formulate project design documentation.
- Approve project procedure and documentation as well as proposals for clients.
Magic Beans will give you all specialized training and all tools so that you can develop your activity in a specialized way adapted to the business.
**Critical Components**:
- Vast experience of designing architectures and migrating on-premise apps to the cloud, ideally in AWS.
- Strong Knowledge in Cloud Networking including Hybrid Cloud connectivity, Peering, network architecture, VPC/VNET, routing, Security Groups / NSGs.
- Solid Knowledge of IT and Cloud security, infrastructure, and governance.
- Strong knowledge, implementing and designing Disaster Recovery solutions, using AWS services.
- Wide experience using several technologies approaches, like SaaS, Paas, IaaS.
- Consolidated knowledge of at least one scripting languages (Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible).
- Proficient usage management software's (Jira, Trello, Confluence, SharePoint).
- Good Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD tools, IaC).
- Knowledge of agile methodology.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and use of professional business language.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Science, or related fields.
- Work Experience: Between 2 years to 4 years of professional experience as a Cloud Solution Architect.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (should have); AWS Certified Security
- Specialty (nice to have); HashiCorp Certified
- Terraform Associate (nice to have).
**Language Skills**:
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge in Spanish, French and/or Dutch is a plus.
