**Position**:
**Overview of the Role**:
We are sseeking a Quality Control Analyst who is responsible for performing physicochemical analyses of medicinal cannabis samples using various techniques, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements, and conducting in-process control analyses.

**Physicochemical Analysis**:

- Perform physicochemical analysis of medicinal cannabis samples using techniques such as HPLC, TLC, loss on drying, microscopy, and other applicable methods after completing the required training.

**Compliance with GMP**:

- Ensure adherence to good documentation practices and that all tasks comply with applicable Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements following training.

**In-Process Control Analyses**:

- Conduct in-process control analyses of medicinal cannabis samples to ensure quality and consistency.

**Material Sampling**:

- Perform sampling of packaging materials and purified water for quality assessment.

**Packaging Material Analysis**:

- Analyze packaging materials to ensure they meet required standards.

**Laboratory Tasks**:

- Participate in various laboratory tasks such as:

- Equipment verification
- Reagent management
- Organization and cleaning of laboratory materials
- Other necessary tasks to maintain laboratory operations

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Preferred: prior experience (minimum of 6 months) in a Quality Control laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Based in Setubal - go to the office every day
- Team spirit and collaboration, as well as critical thinking ability.
- Proactive attitude towards work and learning new techniques.
- Strong sense of responsibility and organization.
- Proficiency in written English.
